Henleaze Forum

Background

Forums are important for the community and complement the work of the Society.  All local residents and traders are invited to attend the meetings.  The aim is to offer everyone an opportunity to raise and discuss local issues. 

The Police and Westbury-on-Trym & Henleaze Councillors attend most of the Forums; they answer questions on the night or take away action points.

Forums generally take place at Henleaze Library between 7pm and 9pm on Tuesdays or Thursdays each quarter.  However, due to Covid-19, the June and September 2020 Forums were cancelled.

The Henleaze Society’s role

The Henleaze Forum is not part of having membership of The Henleaze Society. 

Bristol City Council encourages local communities to meet at least twice a year.  A local organisation in each of Bristol’s wards is invited to facilitate the meetings.  Given the size of Westbury-on-Trym & Henleaze ward, Forums are held in both Westbury-on-Trym and Henleaze.  The Henleaze Society has agreed to facilitate the Henleaze Forums and receives a small grant from the Council to fund printing or other associated costs.

The data held to issue agendas and notes about the Henleaze Forum is separate from information held on The Henleaze Society’s database.   As such, The Henleaze Society’s Privacy Policy does not apply to data held solely to issue Forum notes and agendas.  If you have any comments about the Forum, or want to be added to the database to receive agendas and notes of meetings, please send an email to  henleazeforum@hotmail.com
