This Society will be holding its ninth biennial Open Gardens Day.  It is free and is for members and their guests only. The April newsletter contained details of how to obtain tickets.

Non-members are welcome to attend provided they join the Society – phone Andy Harrison, 962 3929.

The Gardens

13 of our members will be opening their gardens so that others can see the results of their hard work and enthusiasm.  The gardens will be a mixture of large, medium and small and have lots of interesting features.

A Good Afternoon Out

Wandering round Henleaze, whether on foot, bike or car, and visiting interesting gardens makes for an enjoyable afternoon.  Not only is there lots of horticultural interest but it is also a very sociable occasion.

The garden tourists can meet lots of fellow residents, acquaintances or otherwise, and several gardens will be serving refreshments. There is also the opportunity to buy plants and get advice from the gardener on how to make purchases develop into beautiful plants.
